Mother’s day marche
Thank you to all who attended the Mother’s Day Marche last week. Organized by Moms Heart Moms co-chairs Lauren Phelps of Lauren Phelps Studio and Sally King McBride of The Letter Nest, the event was the culmination of so many new and enduring partnerships with some amazing mom-founded brands in support of Welcome Baby.
Hosted at Maman King Street, the beautiful space was graciously donated by Elisa Marshall, mother and founder of Maman. Filled with life and greenery, the space was the perfect backdrop for this meaningful morning and we are so grateful for Maman and their staff for hosting us.
Our incredible mom-founded vendors filled the space - selling special, exclusive items with 20% of proceeds going towards Welcome Baby.
Goldie Home NYC - founded by Sara Roberts, Goldie Home specializes in vibrant table linens and pillows designed to enhance the joy of gathering around the table.
Hart Jewelry - Founded by Hart Hagerty, HART is a Charleston-based jeweler known for their handcrafted and symbolic jewelry.
Naghedi - Founded by Sara Naghedi, Naghedi specializes in durable, timeless pieces for on-the-go moms, travelers, and modern women who enjoy everyday luxuries.
Tuck Shop - Founded by friends Sarah Michler and Caroline Witmer, Tuck Shop is a New York-based artisanal chocolate brand inspired by nostalgic locations and artful packaging.
Lele Sadoughi - Founded by Lele Sadoughi, the eponymous fashion and accessories brand is known for its signature embellished headbands, statement jewelry, and playful yet sophisticated designs.
Timo and Violet - Founded by Erin Jensen and Ronit Weinberg, Timo and Violet is a luxury children’s clothing & accessories brand committed to sustainable, eco-friendly, and heirloom-quality products.
The Letter Nest - Founded by Moms Heart Moms co-chair Sally King McBride, The Letter Nest specializes in hand-painted alphabet art.
In addition to 20% of vendor proceeds, 100% of raffle proceeds were donated to Welcome Baby. Through donation of a diaper and wipes box, a clothing and carrier box, or an entire month of newborn supplies, entrants had the chance to win one of these incredible prizes donated by Lauren Phelps Studio, The Mat with Nicole Katz, Riley Sheehey, Lake Pajamas, Kate McLeod, and Wander Beauty.
Our guests also received an incredible gift bag as a thank you for their donations. Gift bags generously donated by Kate McLeod, Riley Sheehey, Lake Pajamas, Weezie Towels, Peacock Parent, and Wander Beauty.
At the card-making station, guests wrote letters to Welcome Baby box recipients. Their kind messages will be included in Welcome Baby boxes, spreading love and strength to new moms in need.
After lots of shopping, food, and card-making, guests shared a moment of reflection over words by co-chair Lauren Phelps and Welcome Baby co-founder Sarah Steinhardt.
